What can Bellevue College do for you: Bellevue College can help you get where you want to be.  Sometimes that means taking 1 or 2 classes, sometimes it means earning a certificate or degree, sometimes it means getting you ready to transfer to a four-year program.  We’re here to help you decide what’s right for you and how to meet your goals. Bellevue College provides courses, programs, and degrees, but is also a place to build community and meet people that will help you move forward in the world.

What advice would you give a student:

• Faculty and staff are here to help you!  We want to answer questions, provide resources, and find the best ways to help you be successful at Bellevue College. Please reach out and use the resources available on campus.
• Go to class.  There’s so much to be gained from attending classes.  Sometimes it feels like other responsibilities pull us away but make the most of what your classes and instructors have to offer.
• Don’t be afraid to try new things. Being a student provides lots of opportunities for new experiences both in and out of the classroom, usually with a lot of support. Develop new skills, learn new ideas, and meet new friends!
• Be yourself.  While learning new ideas and experiencing new opportunities, you may be faced with challenges to what you already know.  It’s a time for growth, but also a time to decide which beliefs and ideas are important to you.

Hobbies and/or Interests: I love being crafty!  I stitch (cross stitch and blackwork), crochet, and scrapbook/make cards.  I also love to bake and cook.  I spend spare time reading, watching TV (especially cooking competitions and British comedy panel shows) and classic movies.  I also spend lots of time satisfying my boss at home, my cat Toffee, and keeping up with my three adult children
