Education: Bachelor of Science in Earth and Space Sciences from the University of Washington, Washington State Geologist in Training License, Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Use the resources available, ask questions, and get involved in campus activities and events. Do things outside of classwork to show you are a well-rounded student; it is not all about grades. If you have questions about processes or materials – there are many other students with the same question, so ask away…you will never know unless you ask!

What advice would you give a student: Get involved around campus and follow your passion. Education is all about finding and supporting your passion. Do undergraduate research and projects that intersect different fields of study – in the real-world different aspects of science and non-science disciplines are used to get things done. Do not be afraid to branch out…we are here to support you!

Hobbies and/or Interests: I love food! I am a big foodie and love to cook. As well as listen to pop punk music, go hiking to collect rocks and fossils, read scientific papers and discoveries, and building things to renovate and organize my house.
