Bellevue's Jordan Muir-Keung is harassed by a Whatcom defender

BC basketball has a rich tradition in northwest college hoops. A perennial playoff contender, the Bulldogs put together an amazing run to the playoffs last season by winning seven of their final eight league games.

The Bulldogs, who lost their first six league contests, completed their turnaround by grabbing the No. 4 seed in the North Region. In the playoff opener, the upstart Bulldogs pushed top-seeded Big Bend to the brink, leading 36-31 at the half before dropping an 84-76 decision on the road.

The Bulldogs have won or shared the North Region crown seven of the last 12 seasons. Over that span, the Bulldogs have produced nine seasons of 20 victories or more under coach Jeremy Eggers. During his 13-year tenure, the Bulldogs qualified for the NWAC Championships in 11 of the last 13 seasons.
