Full-time (Six Quarters)

Sample ADN Full-time Education Plan

This program is designed for students who would like to complete the ADN program in a six-quarter, or full-time format. Typically classes and labs are offered during the day. Clinical hours may vary depending on a facility’s schedule availability. New students start in fall or winter quarter only and do not take nursing classes during the summer quarters.  If you haven’t previously completed ten credits of approved humanities or social science, you will need to take those in addition to the nursing classes in order to graduate. Current course descriptions, including former course numbers, can be found online with the quarter schedules.

Part-time (10 Quarters)

Sample ADN Part-time Education Plan

This program is designed for students who are interested in becoming a registered nurse, but have other responsibilities or work obligations that interfere with their abilities to attend the full-time program. In the 10-quarter program, classes and labs are offered in evenings and weekends. Clinical hours may vary depending on facility’s schedule availability. New students start in spring quarter only.  If you haven’t previously completed ten credits of approved humanities or social science, you will need to take those in addition to the nursing classes in order to graduate. Current course descriptions, including former course numbers, can be found online with the quarter schedules.

Accelerated ADN Program

Bellevue College’s Nursing program is considering offering an intense accelerated program for the Associate Degree in Nursing. This accelerated program would be a full-time day program with classes offered 5 days a week. It could be completed in as little as 5 quarters with a quicker path to finishing a BSN in just two additional quarters.

We are currently gathering community input and gauging potential student interest for an accelerated option. Please take this survey.
