What advice would you give a student?

  • Get to know one person on the first day of class and exchange emails with them in case you must miss class.
  • It is okay to change your major multiple times, but if you do need help, you can always get support from the Center for Career Connections and your Academic Advisor.
  • Make the best of your college experience by joining a club, attending campus events, working on-campus, and more.
  • Set reminders for important dates and deadlines (class finals, financial aid, scholarships, class registration).
  • You’re not expected to know everything about college. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from people that have been in your shoes
