Bellevue’s bats came alive for 30 runs this past Saturday defeating the West Coast Baseball Academy of Canada by scores of 11-1 and 19-2. Bellevue College’s baseball team (4-4 in league; 9-11 overall) won a non-league contest 7-4 Wednesday night over Centralia. Brodie McCormack and Andrew Stephenson led the Bulldogs with three hits apiece. Bellevue's pitchers got plenty of work in as seven pitchers threw to combine on a three-hitter.

The Bulldog baseball team split the season opening series losing 8-3 before winning the nightcap 7-1 on Saturday in Canada. The teams came to Bellevue the following day and split a doubleheader again by scores of 3-0 and 13-8. This weekend's league opener series has been changed due to weather conditions. Bellevue will travel to Douglas College on Sunday March 29 for a 1:00 PM doubleheader.
