Troubleshooting Common Problems with ctcLink

Hi Student,

Winter Quarter enrollment is now open in ctcLink. After a couple days of students enrolling in their classes, there are some common problems we have developed solutions for.

But first, remember to enroll soon for your best selection of classes. That way, if you encounter any issues, you have more time to get them resolved before the quarter starts.

ISSUE: I cannot view and/or pay the tuition I owe for the class(es) I enrolled in.

SOLUTION: Visit gateway.ctclink.us and log in with your ctcLink ID and password. This directs you to ctcLink’s full site and signals the system to allow you to see your tuition on the mobile site (the primary ctcLink view we encourage you to use).

ISSUE: I tried to enroll in a class, but it said I did not meet prerequisite requirements even though my records state I do.

SOLUTION: Try to enroll in the class again. Our offices have worked to troubleshoot many problems students experienced with prerequisites.

IF you are able to enroll in the class AND opened a support ticket, please comment on your original ticket that the issue is resolved.

ISSUE: I tried to enroll in a lab component of a class but there was a conflict with the time, and I could not enroll.

SOLUTION: Try to enroll in the lab component again. Our offices have worked to resolve problems and conflicts with lectures that have lab components.

IF you are able to enroll in the class AND opened a support ticket, please comment on your original ticket that the issue is resolved.

ISSUE: I cannot log in to ctcLink.

SOLUTION: Please activate your ctcLink account using your ctcLink ID (202120255). Then, after you complete the required information, log in.

ISSUE: I don’t know my ctcLink ID.

SOLUTION: Look up your ctcLink ID through our online ID lookup tool.

ISSUE: I forgot my ctcLink password.

SOLUTION: Visit gateway.ctclink.us and select ‘Password Help’ then ‘Reset Password’.
