What is the difference between the associate degree and the bachelor’s degree?

Detailed Information About Our Degree Offerings.

We offer two associate degrees: Digital Marketing AAS-T and Marketing Management AAS. Associate degrees are 90-credits, which is half the length of the bachelor’s degree. Students wishing to secure entry-level employment in marketing, or earn a “stepping stone” degree to the BAS, might choose an associate degree. The Digital Marketing BAS degree is 180-credits and graduates can expect rigorous training for careers in marketing, including promotion into leadership roles. The bachelor’s degree includes a Capstone project where each student completes a year long marketing project for a real company.

How long does it take to complete each degree program?

The BAS program is a 180-credit degree program, and the associate degrees are 90 credits. Students can customize their schedule each quarter to be part-time or full-time. Full-time students taking 15 credits per quarter can expect to finish the BAS in 12 quarters, or an associate degree in six quarters. Certificate programs range from one to five quarters in length. The time to completion for part-time students varies based on credit load. Students with accepted transfer credit can expect to complete the program sooner.

Can I transfer credits from other colleges or universities?

You may contact the Program Manager to discuss equivalent courses and transfer requirements for the BAS program.
