Our Hours are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday in Room C212, second floor of the Student Union Building!
The entire journey of completing my Bachelor’s degree took 18 years, from Bellevue College and Renton Technical College to Eastern Washington University, where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Children’s Studies. As a single parent who worked multiple part-time jobs and received social services assistance while going to school, I understand how today’s students need to deal with childcare, healthcare, and housing issues in addition to finding time and funding for their college education.
Prior to joining Student Engagement, I worked 14 years with the Center for Career Connections here at BC. During my time with the CCC, I assisted students seeking internships, employment opportunities, and Work-Study funding, a specific form of earned financial aid. Now, I am assisting students to engage with their college experience from the different perspective of social interactions.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my son and our family dog, playing pool, reading, gardening, board & card games, tent-camping, salvaging discarded items or repurposing them, as well as various other creative and artistic pursuits.
