Erika has been a part-time Allied Health faculty member since 2004. She holds a Master’s in Adult Education and is a certified Phlebotomy instructor. She has over 26 years in healthcare. She has worked as a Phlebotomist, Clinical Lab Assistant, Laboratory Information Specialist, Clinical Research Liaison for the Federal Government, and a Subject Matter Expert for multiple phlebotomy related lawsuits. She has used her broad experience in healthcare to teach at the college level, and at the corporate level. Erika prides herself on being an interactive instructor that likes to incorporate real life scenarios into her curriculum to better prepare her students for employment. Her love of teaching is shown by how many of her students have secured employment in the healthcare field.
