Judith has an AAS-T degree in Medical Assisting, AA degree in Administrative Assisting and Certificates in both Medical Coding & Billing and Medical Transcription. She has been employed at a family medicine practice for 12 years practicing all aspects of Medical Assisting and administrative duties. Prior to that, she worked for a Naturopathic physician for one year in administrative and Medical Assisting capacities. She teaches all of the clinical procedure classes in the Medical Assisting program as well as Medical Terminology. She has been managing the Medical Assisting students when they are out doing their practicum at externship sites in the community putting their skills to practical use. She holds her students to a higher level since any certification exam they are going to take to practice as a Medical Assistant requires an 80% score to pass.
