ADN Admissions Test Header

Applicants to the ADN program must take the TEAS within one year of applying. Tests can be taken at Bellevue College, another institution, or online. This test assesses students for academic preparedness and writing ability, both essential skills for nursing students.

TEAS™

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS™) assesses preparedness for the Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) program with questions on Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage.

No other test or coursework may substitute for the TEAS™ exam.

  • Minimum score: 70% in all content areas (no rounding up to that percentage)
  • Retakes: No limit on number of retakes.
  • Expiration date: 1 year
  • Fees: $115 with BC Testing services, may vary online or at other locations.
  • Reports: Official ATI reports do not need to be sent to Bellevue College. Submit score report with application.
