Applicants to the ADN program must take two tests within one year of applying: the TEAS and Writeplacer. Tests can be taken at Bellevue College, another institution, or online. These two tests assess students for academic preparedness and writing ability, both essential skills for nursing students.

If taking these exams at Bellevue College Placement and Testing Services, make sure your email is sent from your Bellevue College email address and includes:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • BC Student ID number
  • The name of the test you wish to take in the subject line
  • The program you need to take this test for (Nursing ADN)

The Nursing Program does not have any knowledge of the testing schedules, and cannot help with scheduling exams or contacting testing services.

  • Retakes: No limit on number of retakes.
  • Expiration date: 1 year
