Student organizations at Bellevue College play a vital role in the student culture of BC and offer students the opportunity for leadership development and growth. Chartered Student Organizations provide students the means to connect with others who share similar interests/beliefs, as well as encourage inclusiveness and cooperation among groups and individuals, thereby enriching the collegiate experience.
Student groups can be officially recognized and listed by the College through the chartering process. Chartered Student Organizations overseen by ASG and the Office of Student Programs are open to all BC students: full-time and part-time. There is no cost to join a student organization. Honor Societies or groups operating as a local chapter to a national organization are the only exception, as their membership is invitation-only and may involve a cost to join the national organization.
