I work with eLearning and I manage the XR Lab with Drew Stone and Bruce Wolcott. My current emphasis with the XR Lab is to help establish the NWXR EDU Network which is a project supported by The National Science Foundation (2023-2026). I also facilitate online training workshops for faculty, assist with online course development, and Canvas administration.
Prior to joining eLearning I worked with the Health Science Education and Wellness Division (HSEWI) as an eLearning Specialist. I’ve taught as an adjunct instructor with Bellevue College teaching approximately one to four classes per quarter from January, 2000 – June 2020. I have several years experience teaching at other colleges in the Northwest, and from 1999-2014 I contracted with advertising and tech agencies in the Seattle area developing interactive media.
My hobbies include photography, sketching, and creating short documentary films. Several of my film projects have been accepted to local and international film festivals. I also enjoy running, hiking and skiing. I am very proud of my son who works in construction, and enjoys skateboarding, and snowboarding.
