I am the Digital Learning Manager and I manage the XR Lab with Bruce Wolcott.
My current emphasis is on facilitating online training workshops for faculty and college employees, providing help with online course development, assisting with Canvas administration, and assisting with the supervision of the day to day activities at the XR Lab.
I have an excellent understanding of the following tools: HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, video production and editing (Premiere, Camtasia, DSLR video tools, 360 video), motion graphics (After Effects, Adobe Animate, Photoshop), and eLearning tools (Canvas, Cidi Labs, Articulate Rise).
Prior to joining eLearning I worked with the Health Science Education and Wellness Division (HSEWI) as an eLearning Specialist. I’ve taught as an adjunct instructor with Bellevue College teaching approximately one to four classes per quarter from January, 2000 – June 2020. I have several years experience teaching at other colleges in the Northwest, and from 1999-2014 I contracted with advertising and tech agencies in the Seattle area developing interactive media.
My hobbies include photography, sketching, and creating documentaries. Several of my film projects have been accepted to local and international film festivals. I also enjoy running, hiking and skiing. I am proud of my son who in the construction field, and enjoys skateboarding, and snowboarding.
