ctcLink Friday Closures

Bellevue College ctcLink Communications header

Dear Campus Community,

There has been a lot of work taking place on campus for ctcLink this last year. With the work ahead, and the understanding that there is limited time to get everything accomplished in preparation for our go-live date, President’s Cabinet has determined that offices may close to the public on Fridays starting April 30 through December 31, 2021. The purpose of these closures is to allow departments one full day a week with fewer interruptions to complete the necessary work for ctcLink, or get caught up on items that fell behind due to ctcLink work.

We anticipate exceptions to the closures such as the first week of the quarter or other times where individual departments experience a greater need from our community. We also understand that not all departments may need dedicated time for ctcLink. The VP/AVP for each area will work with supervisors to determine if Friday closure is appropriate and when exceptions to the closures will be made.

We understand and appreciate the concerns regarding the workload and time that ctcLink preparations require and greatly appreciate all the hard work across campus that is preparing us for a successful go live.

We will continue to listen and look for ways to help balance the work and meet the needs of the College.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your President’s Cabinet member, Maria Rivas (ctcLink Project Manager), or Rodger Harrison (ctcLink Executive Sponsor).

Thank you to everyone for all you are doing to make ctcLink a success!
