Open Door Youth Reengagement Admissions

Are you 16-21 years old and not currently enrolled in high school? Do want to get a degree or certificate? Career Education Options is designed to help you to receive an education and job skills at BC. We provide students with a second chance at education, and tools to succeed in the college environment.

Overview

The Career Education Options (CEO) Youth Reengagement Program works with youth ages 16-21 who are credit deficient and/or at-risk of dropping out of high school. This program enables you to work toward any of the following:

  • High school diploma
  • General Educational Development (GED)
  • Professional-technical credential
  • AA degree

Meanwhile, you can receive wraparound services and support to help you succeed. We are committed to helping you reconnect to your individual path of success.

Language Integration Program

The Language Integration Program provides services and support for English language learners who want to receive a high school diploma.

Youth General Educational Development

If you are a current CEO student, contact a CEO advisor to sign up for General Educational Development classes.

If you are not a current CEO student, please attend an info session to learn about getting your General Educational Development through our program.

Youth High School Completion (Ages 16-21)

We offer coursework that meets the minimum credit requirements for a diploma in Washington state.

In addition to applying to CEO, you will need to submit your high school transcript and meet with an advisor.

Admission and Enrollment in Career Education Options

There is a three-step process to attend classes in Bellevue College’s CEO program.

  1. Complete the Declaration of Intent Form.
  2. Complete the college application.
  3. Follow the directions you receive via email.
    • It is extremely important that you provide a valid email address on your Declaration of Intent because this email will share all information regarding next steps and deadlines.

Have you previously participated in CEO or the Language Integration Program, or enrolled at BC?

If so, you do not need to reapply. Please contact our office if you have questions about this.
