Bellevue College is dedicated to the health safety and wellness of our staff, faculty, students, and the community at large.
Public Safety
Public Safety is your resource providing personal safety, security, crime prevention, preliminary investigations, and other services to the campus community 24/7.
Our staff is trained in non-violent crisis intervention skills to avoid and defuse most confrontational situations,
basic CPR, and emergency response for major incidents.
Emergency Alerts
If there’s a campus emergency, check your email for updates. Rather get texts? Sign up! We’ll text you if classes are canceled, campus is closed, or there’s an emergency.
Safety Escort Program
Officer escorts to and from your vehicle are available by request. Safety escorts are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. If you are feeling unsafe please come in and speak with an officer so we can address your concerns.
Lockouts and Jump Starts
If you are locked out of your car, you have a dead battery and need assistance, we can help. Contact the Public Safety office using your cell phone or a blue Emergency Call Box located around the campus. If you are able, please raise the hood of your car, so officers can better locate your vehicle.
Parking
Purchase a pass, pay a citation, find out where to park. Get all your parking questions answered.
Wellness Center
Join the BC Wellness Center to expand your wellness practices. Take advantage of the varied approaches offered to support your path to greater wellness: outdoor adventures, fitness space access, drop-in and organized intramurals — the BC Wellness Center is here to support the growing Wellness needs of the student population.
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center keeps bodies active and minds sharp. Work out on the latest equipment. You can access the Fitness Center for a low, student-friendly fee.
Adventure Awaits
A Wellness Center adventure will expand your outdoor adventure knowledge while creating a community of others who value the effect of green space on your personal wellness. Bike trips, open water paddles, rock climbing, guided hikes and overnight excursions – these adventures are created to be repeated for years to come.
Intramurals
Compete and play – quarterly intramural events get you active and engaged. From weekly drop-in leagues to one-day tournaments, bring your talents to share. Offerings rotate quarterly based on attendance and suggestions.
