Suspended Operations

BC Alert: Bellevue College is suspending all campus operations, classes & activities until 5PM May 14, 2026

Dear Colleagues,

Unfortunately, due to power issues across campus, Bellevue College will suspend all campus operations on Thursday, May 14 effective immediately until 5 PM. This means all classes, events, and activities are canceled until 5 PM. The Early Learning Center will be closing at 11 AM. Student Housing will remain open.

Campus Operations is working with PSE and contractors to resolve issues from infrastructure work completed early this morning. A second power outage will take place between 11 AM to 5 PM to work on restoring power.

If further suspended operations after 5 PM are necessary, we will notify campus by 1 PM via the College’s BC Alert system, email, and post updates on the BC website

Instructors: We are communicating to students that there may be additional guidance via Canvas, the syllabus, and/or college email.

Students: Your instructors may provide additional guidance via Canvas, the syllabus, and/or college email. It is highly recommended you check Canvas, your syllabus, and your college email for any directions, postings or assignments from your instructors.
