Vote Centers Coming in August and November

Bellevue College is pleased to be the latest recipient of a King County Elections drive-up ballot drop box. The college joins local college campuses, such as the University of Washington Bothell and Highline College, that provide visible and accessible ballot mailing locations to students and the public.

“College campuses have long been places to exercise free speech, learn about government and politics, and participate in democracy,” Bellevue College President David May said. “As someone who studied and taught political science, I am passionate about higher education’s role in producing civically engaged students and graduates. Bellevue College is grateful to be the next location for King County Elections’ ballot drop box and Vote Centers in the upcoming primary and general elections. Through this partnership, I believe we can create a healthier democratic society on the Eastside and greater King County region.”

The new drop box is located between parking lots 1A and 3A on Bellevue College’s campus at 3000 Landerholm Circle SE, Bellevue, WA 98007 and will open for 24 hours a day beginning July 16 and close at 8 PM, Aug. 4 for the primary election.

“The new ballot drop box at Bellevue College is the 90th drop box in King County,” said King County Elections Director Julie Wise. “I’m grateful to the Bellevue College leadership and community for partnering with us to host this milestone drop box. Ballots for the upcoming August Primary will be mailed on July 15 — I encourage voters to vote early to be sure their voices are heard.”

Bellevue College is also proud to host a Vote Center this August and November 2026 for the primary and general elections. If voters need help with voter registration, finding election information, or their ballots, Bellevue College’s U Building will serve as a location for the college community and the public.

The Vote Center for the primary election will be held from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, Aug. 1; 8:30 AM to 6 PM on Monday, Aug. 3; and 8:30 AM to 8 PM on Tuesday, Aug. 4 (Election Day) on the second floor of the U Building. The Vote Center for the general election will be held on the third floor of the U Building with times and dates released in the fall.

The Vote Center will have accessible voting units with audio, large print ballots, and other assistive tools to help voters with disabilities cast an independent and private vote. Voters can also register and get their ballot at the Vote Center through Election Day.
