Italian
Bellevue College offers one year of Italian classes. Students learn high frequency vocabulary words and grammatical patterns to build their comprehension and production skills.

Japanese
Bellevue College offers two years of Japanese classes with on ground and synchronous online options. Students learn all four language skills -listening, speaking, reading, and writing along with an introduction to some aspects of Japanese culture and customs whenever appropriate.

KBCS (91.3 FM)
KBCS (91.3 FM) is a public radio station serving the Seattle-Tacoma region, based on the Eastside and licensed to Bellevue College. The station plays a wide variety of music, with an emphasis on great songs, global beats, and acoustic traditions.

Life Sciences
The Life Sciences program at Bellevue College is composed of courses in biology, botany, and nutrition that prepares students in completing an Associate of Science transfer degree in Science Track 1: Biological, Environmental/Resources, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, AS. From the microscopic world of bacteria to global issues like climate change, studies in life sciences lead to fulfilling careers where you can have a direct impact on your community and the natural world. Some of these careers in life science include becoming a laboratory technician, biologist, or nutritionist. Our program also provides foundational courses in areas such as general biology, botany, human biology, microbiology, nutrition, and anatomy & physiology that prepares our students for biology-related majors and allied health programs such as nursing, radiation therapy and diagnostic ultrasound.
