Exploring Pathways

What are Exploring Pathways Events?
These events are designed to help our current BC students learn more about the focus areas in each of the eight Pathways at Bellevue College. The Exploring Pathways event is held during the fifth week of the quarter, right before the class registration process begins for the next quarter. Each quarter, the Exploring Pathways event has a different format.
In Fall, the Exploring Pathways event is designed like an open house, where students can connect with faculty and advisors in different areas to learn more about various courses and programs.
The Winter Exploring Pathways event is a weeklong series of Career Panels, in which students will have the chance to interact with working professionals in various fields to learn about possible careers.
During the Spring Exploring Pathways event, students will have the opportunity to connect with campus supports, career and transfer resources, and various student groups and clubs within the BC community.
When and Where are Exploring Pathways Events Going to be Held in Spring Quarter?
The Spring Exploring Pathways Events will be held May 6-8. Due to campus closures in February, the planned Winter Quarter events were moved to the Spring Quarter. In addition to career panels, we will have skills workshops, networking opportunities, and resources available to support students each day.
There is also a Job Fair scheduled for May 7. To support students in preparing for the Job Fair, the Center for Career Connections will be offering several workshops, including:
- Resume Writing Workshop, April 22 1:30-2:30 PM, U303
- Resume Writing Workshop, virtual
Drop-in resume review sessions, April 28, April 30, May 1, May 2, 12-2 PM, U303
How do I Register?
- Pre-registration is needed only for the Job Fair and virtual Resume Writing Workshop; registration link is included in the Schedule of Events below. Pre-registration for the in-person panels and workshops is not needed. When you arrive at the events, please check in at the welcome table. We look forward to having you join us to explore your career options in the various pathways!
