Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology, AAS
This degree provides training in ultrasound patient services and diagnostic techniques and prepares you for jobs in this high-demand field. Graduates are eligible to sit for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography examination. Students choose one of two tracks: abdomen-extended and OB/GYN or adult cardiac. Dr. Terry Hatcher
- Program Chair
Dr. Hatcher received her M.Ed. in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from University of South Carolina and her Ph.D. in Health Services Administration from Walden University. In addition to chairing the ultrasound program, she is the Phi Theta Kappa advisor at Bellevue College.

Stephanie Campbell

Stephanie Campbell received her AAS (Cardiac Sonography) and BASc (Healthcare Management and Leadership) at Bellevue College. She has worked as a cardiac sonographer for Virginia Mason Medical Center since 2005 and has been the program director of diagnostic ultrasound at Bellevue College since January 2022.

Isaac Hopps

Isaac Hopps received his Associate’s degree from Bellevue College in diagnostic medical sonography before working as a registered vascular technologist at the University of Washington. He returned to Bellevue College as a vascular ultrasound instructor in April 2021.
