Theatre Arts

Studying the theatre arts of drama and dance expands and enriches learning, life and culture. You’ll develop knowledge and skills that can benefit you in a variety of careers involving live performance, production tech, design, writing, management, leadership, and administration. Theatre Arts: Drama and Dance offers three tracks to get you major ready for transfer: Acting, General, and Design/Tech.

    Tammis (Tammi) Doyle

    • Program Chair

    Professor and department chair Tammi Doyle received her MFA in Theatre Direction from the UW. She teaches Acting, Directing, Playwriting, Musical Theatre and Dramatic Literature at Bellevue College. She has directed 50+ shows at BC, and numerous productions around the country. Her original plays and musicals are produced throughout the Northwest.

    Jenna Spinei

    • Adjunct Faculty

    Seattle-based choreographer, performer and dance movement therapist Jenna Spinei holds a Movement Science BS from the University of Michigan, a Dance Movement Psychotherapy MA from Goldsmiths, University of London and is a Franklin Method® Certified Educator. She has been on faculty at Broadway Dance Ireland, Jackson School of the Arts and Cornish College of the Arts.
