Furry Therapy Coming to the Library
Furry Therapy Coming to the Library
August 8, 2017, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Take a break from your studies to pet a dog and de-stress!
Location: Library - D126
To help you survive Final Week and exams, students under stress will have a furry friend to turn to for a moment of relaxation. 15-to 30-minute time period with one of our Pet Therapy Volunteer Teams. No reservations are required. (Sessions are available at every 1/2 hour). The dogs are well trained and go through a rigorous certification process to qualify them to be a part of the program. Dog owners serve as volunteers and spend their time to bring the dogs to the library. Dogs will only be in a restricted area as the library wants to be sensitive to anyone with allergies. Students with allergies – may want to be cautious in the library during these hours, to limit your exposure to animal dander during this event.
Free, Volunteer Teams are Sponsored by the BC Library
