WHAT:  An informational meeting for parents interested in signing up for a Parent-Infant class offered by Bellevue College’s Parent Education Program that will begin in late January.

WHEN:  Monday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m.

WHO:  For parents with infants who were born in June of 2012 or later.

WHERE:  Bellevue College’s Early Learning Center (located at the corner of 145th Pl. SE and SE 24th St.), Room Q-120

COST:  The information session is free; there will be a fee to sign up for the class.

OF INTEREST:

  • The class will meet on Monday afternoons from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 28 and will run until mid-June.
  • Infants, who accompany their parents to the weekly class, will benefit from early enrichment experiences that help them develop and grow mentally, socially and emotionally. The classes also offer parents an excellent opportunity to meet and connect with other parents.
  • Classes will include lectures and discussions on nutrition, family life and development. The teaching team includes a parent educator, an infant nutrition specialist and a music teacher.
