Emergency Alerts

Bellevue College has partnered with Rave Mobile Safety to offer an emergency alert notification system called BC Alerts. The BC Alerts service delivers reliable emergency text and email messages to you anytime there is an emergency on campus that poses a safety concern for the community.

Engineering

The Engineering Transfer Department at Bellevue College is designed for students who are pursuing a four year bachelor’s degree in engineering. The curriculum offered at Bellevue College will allow a student to fulfill pre-major requirements in order to transfer and apply for admission into a university engineering department.

English

By offering high quality courses in literature, composition, and creative writing, the English Department seeks to foster creative and critical abilities, promote multiculturalism and tolerance, cultivate an appreciation of the English language, and empower students to achieve their academic and career goals.

English as a Second Language

The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is for students who want to learn English as an additional language. ESL courses are intended for students who want to learn reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills for their college and career goals.

The Enrollment Services Office supports students from the time of admission to the college through graduation or transfer to another college or university, and supports the mission of the college by providing high-quality, flexible, accessible services that advance pluralism, inclusion, and global awareness.

Environmental Science

Environmental Science is a multifaceted interdisciplinary study of how we humans interact with the living and non-living parts of the natural world. The three main goals of environmental science are: to learn how the natural world works, to understand how humans interact with the environment, and to find ways to deal with environmental problems and live more sustainably.
