Astronomy, AAS-DTA

Astronomy is the study of the Universe and objects in space (such as stars, planets, comets, and galaxies). College coursework for an astronomy degree is similar to preparing to major in physics, so the Science, Track II degree is usually the best fit for students considering Astronomy. Astronomy careers include jobs in academia and industry, including researchers, technicians, and data scientists.

Course Maps

A course map is a quick guide to help students figure out which courses to take each quarter. Course maps were written by BC faculty, who have used their expertise to recommend specific courses students can take to achieve their academic or career goals. Students should meet with an advisor to learn more.
