Baccalaureate Certificate
The certificate in computed tomography (CT) imaging prepares imaging technologists to work in CT imaging labs. Academic courses prepare students for the advanced certification exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The clinical practicum is not guaranteed and is dependent on grades, site availability, and approval. This certificate meets the career advancement needs of practicing professionals registered in radiology, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy.

Baccalaureate Certificate
This certificate is intended for registered radiologic technologists who wish to become credentialed as mammographers. It is designed to meet the competency requirements for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists post-primary exam in mammography and meet Mammography Quality Standards Act guidelines for initial training in mammography, digital mammography, and digital breast tomosynthesis. In addition to in-class training, you’ll be eligible to apply for a clinical practicum with a local employer.

This certificate formally prepares imaging technologists in radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy to work in a PET Imaging lab. All courses in this certificate program are a part of the Radiation & Imaging Sciences (RAIS) degree program and may be counted towards the Bellevue College Bachelor of Applied Science in Radiation and Imaging Science.

This BAS concentration is designed for individuals who have completed a diagnostic medical sonography educational program and are ready to advance their skills and knowledge within the field. This degree includes an overview of business and administrative healthcare functions, foundational learning in information systems and accreditation, and leadership essentials. Bellevue College is proud to offer the only medical dosimetry program in Washington State.

The BAS Technology concentration prepares current imaging professionals for advancement in the field. Coursework is 100% online and covers topics such as instrumentation and procedures, advanced sectional anatomy, and institutional quality and management. You’ll develop your business, legal, and leadership knowledge as well as advanced technical skills. Electives allow you to meet American Registry of Radiologic Technologist requirements for computer tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), vascular interventional radiology, mammography, and breast ultrasound.
