Mammography, Certificate of Completion

This certificate is intended for registered radiologic technologists who wish to become credentialed as mammographers. It is designed to meet the competency requirements for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists post-primary exam in mammography and meet Mammography Quality Standards Act guidelines for initial training in mammography, digital mammography, and digital breast tomosynthesis. In addition to in-class training, you’ll be eligible to apply for a clinical practicum with a local employer.

    Jennifer Prekeges

    • Chair of Nuclear Medicine Technology

    Jennifer Prekeges graduated from Whitman College, then worked as a clinical tech for 20 years. She earned a Master of Science degree in Radiological Sciences at the University of Washington and was directly involved in the original design and direction of Bellevue College’s program for nuclear medicine technologists.

    • Faculty

    Gina Senz studied radiology at Bellevue College, pursuing advanced certifications in CT, MRI and Mammography. After working in IT, she has returned to her roots and now works as the Clinical Coordinator (CT/MRI) for Bellevue College, and as adjunct faculty for the Radiation and Imaging Sciences program.
