XR Lab and Virtual worlds technologies

The newly developing XR Lab, located within the Bellevue College eLearning Center, continues this exploration of virtual worlds technologies, by

  1. Partnering with Bellevue College faculty to provide live VR learning experiences for students to augment current curricula in a variety of disciplines
  2. Providing an access point for access to XR technologies for students and faculty
  3. Partnering with institutions for information sharing and future collaborations such as the Pacific Science Center, Seattle AR/VR Meetups, Google Tours, University of Washington CoMotion Lab, HTC Vive, Microsoft Mixed Reality, Valve, Enterprize, Rumii, Arkitek Studios, and others.
  4. The eLearning Center in partnership with the Communications Studies department will continue to host the ongoing Virtual Reality: Communications and Design course through the expanding multimedia theater facility.
