Personal Fitness Trainer Certificate of Completion
Explore a career that offers flexibility and the chance to work with people. Personal fitness trainers fulfill roles in a variety of settings including fitness club technician, coach, and community center instruction. This certificate prepares you for the National Strength and Conditioning Association Personal Fitness Trainer Exam and other certifications. Students may apply certificate credits to an associate of arts and science transfer degree and continue their education with a four-year sports medicine or exercise science program.

Amy Swanson received a BS in Exercise Science and Wellness from Pacific Lutheran University and holds a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion from University of Arizona, Tucson. Professor Swanson is a Certified Personal Trainer (ACSM) and ACE Health Coach, and BASI Pilates Instructor.
