Instructional Designers will conduct interactive workshops and presentations on the following possible topics:
- Canvas Basics:
- Aligning Your Syllabus, Rubrics, and Gradebook
- Importing Previous Canvas Courses
- Intermediate Canvas:
- Groups & Peer Reviews
- Office 365 Integration in Canvas
- Video in Canvas:
- Using Videos/Screencasts
- Video Captioning
- Accessibility:
- Making Your Documents & Presentations Accessible
- Making Your Canvas Sites Accessible
- Other:
- Open Educational Resources (OER)
- Using Copyrighted Materials
We will have four concurrent sessions. Facilitators will demonstrate a concept and share effective examples of activities in Canvas. Each session will have a hands-on component where you will get time to update your current Canvas course.
Maximum number of participants: 40

Time: 8am – 4pm
- 8am – Breakfast
- 8.30am – 11:30am – Topic (4 Concurrent Sessions)
- 11:30 – Noon – Lunch
- Noon – 1pm – Demo Hour
- 1pm – 4pm – Topic (4 Concurrent Sessions)
Last Date to Register: August 10th
Location: Bellevue College Main Campus – Library Media Center
Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Breakfast will begin at 8am. The first presentation will begin at 8:30am.
Stipend: $200 for attending both days
A commitment to participate in all workshops and training sessions will be required in order to get paid.
