Bellevue College will welcome prospective students, families, and community members to Discovery Day from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Student Success Center (U Building), 3000 Landerholm Circle SE. 

This free event offers future students the opportunity to explore academic programs, attend information sessions, meet faculty and advisors, and experience live demonstrations in high-demand career fields. 

With 15 bachelor’s degrees, nine transfer associate degrees, 23 professional/technical programs, 55 baccalaureate certificates, and 15 associate certificates, Bellevue College provides multiple pathways for students to achieve their goals — whether transferring to a four-year university, preparing for a high-demand career, or exploring new opportunities at any stage of life. 

Discovery Day will feature a full schedule of information sessions throughout the day, including: 

  • Financing Your Education
  • Enrolling at Bellevue College 
  • Running Start 2026
  • International Education
  • First-Year Seminar (required for transfer students)
  • Occupational and Life Skills Program
  • Neurodiversity Navigators 

These sessions provide practical guidance on enrollment, financial aid, academic pathways, and student support services. Campus offices and academic programs will also host tabling sessions, offering one-on-one conversations with advisors and staff.

A major highlight of Discovery Day is the immersive experience offered by the Health Sciences, Education, and Wellness Institute in the T Building. 

Visitors can observe and participate in: 

  • Live radiation therapy demonstrations using the 3D VERT (Virtual Environment Radiation Therapy) system
  • Birthing simulations led by faculty and nursing students
  • Neurodiagnostic Technology EEG demonstrations
  • Bone scans completed by RN-BSN students
  • Open nursing labs, simulation spaces, ultrasound labs, X-ray labs, and neurodiagnostic technology labs  

These hands-on experiences showcase Bellevue College’s state-of-the-art facilities and provide a dynamic look at healthcare education in action. 

Bellevue College offers multiple early-college pathways: 

  • Running Start allows high school juniors and seniors to take college courses tuition-free while earning both high school and college credit. Many students graduate with an associate degree or certificate before completing high school.
  • College in the High School enables students in grades 9-12 to earn college credit at their high school.
  • Career Education Options (CEO) supports students ages 16-21 in reengaging with education and career pathways.
