Credit Restriction Guidelines

  • Your credit limit will automatically increase to 10 credits after you earn a term GPA of 2.0 or higher for two consecutive terms. If your credit limit has not automatically increased to 10 after earning a 2.0 GPA or higher for two consecutive quarters email ssi@bellevuecollege.edu.
  • If you continue to improve and earn a term GPA of 3.0 or higher after being moved to 10 credits, you may submit an appeal to have your credit restriction reviewed.
  • If you choose to appeal before meeting the criteria above, you must clearly explain the extenuating circumstances that impacted your academic standing and include documentation when available. Appeals must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the quarter.
