Academic Standing Levels
Read about the threshold for, and guidelines related to, good academic standing at BC.
Overview
You are required to maintain a cumulative (overall) GPA of 2.0 or higher to remain in good academic standing. If your GPA falls below 2.0, the college applies the following progressive consequences:
- Level 1: Academic Concern
- Level 2: Academic Intervention
- Level 3: Academic Restriction
- Level 4: Academic Dismissal
